18th Annual Walk4Water

Sometimes I am overwhelmed by the goodness and generosity of people. For this year's Walk4Water, hundreds of people gave of their time and financial gifts. This year, participants really took their time to visit the Educational Stations, fellowship together, and physically experience what it is like to carry water for a long distance.

This year’s Walk4Water raised $18,422 due to the generosity of local businesses and members of our community.

Over the past four months, you have given $72,000 by supporting our 20th Annual Celebration Banquet, 18th Annual Walk4Water, monthly giving, and general giving. 

Funds Raised after minor expenses deducted:

Banquet $16,000 - $579 Expenses = $15,421

W4W $19,491 - $1,069 Expenses = $18,422

Multiple Donors - $38,158

Water4Good: $24,000 Mailed 4/27/26. Funds were received for Safe Water Projects.

World Vision: $24,000 Mailed 5/07/26

 -Serere District under the Direction of Sarah Tukashaba: $12,000 to mail  as projects demand   

- Kidongole under the Direction of Daniel Ololia: $12,000 to mail as projects demand

BTG’s 20th Anniversary Celebration Banquet Fundraiser

Sharing the history of BTG, good people gathering, a beautiful setting, dinner prepared by Chico Locker & Sausage, dessert by Mim’s, and ending the evening singing “The Goodness of God” reaffirmed that I was right where I was supposed to be. 

I want to thank Karen Horn, one of BTG’S Board Members, for taking the lead of putting the event together. To each each one of you that came, spoke words of encouragement, decided to become a volunteer, became a corporate sponsor for the Walk4Water, and donated, I am forever grateful. We raised $15,421 to go toward clean water projects.
